David Paul Gaffney was born in Pekin, IL on July 18, 1974 to Paula Bosela Hardman, VA and to the late Brian Gaffney.
He passed away Thursday, October 9 2025 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
After high school David attended the Illinois Welding School, graduating in 2006. He then furthered his trade at ADM in Peoria, IL as a Welder Fabricator. David then moved to Cadiz and was the Welding Instructor for Wabash. He was currently employed at Shady Lawn Nursing Home as the Maintenance Director. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and a jack of all trades. He was the founder of the Bikers for Autism in the United States and was instrumental in raising money for local autism programs.
