On Wednesday, the Christian County Health Department welcomed families to its annual “Back to Health Block Party.”
Marketing Director Cloie Rager says the event started as a way to reconnect with the community after the pandemic.
That growth shows in the number of community partners taking part.
Rager says the block party has activities for all ages.
Along with those attractions, dozens of organizations were on hand to share resources.
Rager says the health department’s goal goes beyond medical care.
The block party is expected to continue each fall, and the health department is even considering a second event each year.
