The Dyslexia Association of the Pennyrile is gearing up for one of its biggest fundraisers of the year—and organizers say it’s an event you won’t want to miss.
Teams can have up to ten members, and tickets are $35 per person—that includes a full lasagna dinner, with vegetarian options available, courtesy of Jennifer from Four Seasons.
Jones also gave a special thanks to this year’s sponsors, including Planters Bank as the title sponsor, along with Fortera Credit Union, Hopkinsville Electric System, and others who contributed at various levels.
Funds raised will support the group’s screening and tutoring programs using the Barton Reading and Spelling System, and their advocacy work to help families navigate public school accommodations.
Right now, the association serves around 50 students locally and has recently partnered with Christian County Schools and a Challenge House to reach even more.
Trivia Night is Friday, June 13th at the War Memorial Building in Hopkinsville.
A fun night out for a good cause—and a shot at a thousand-dollar prize.
