Trigg County FFA members, former students, and fellow FFA advisors took time Friday night to say thank you to retiring FFA Advisor Jody P’Pool after 27 years.
2025-26 Trigg County FFA President Ethan Curling thanked P’Pool for his time serving as his FFA advisor and borrowed a line from the FFA Motto when he presented P’Pool with a special award.
Retired Trigg County Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor James Ladd saluted P’Pool for his twenty-seven years of service.

Marshall County Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor Alan Smith shared memories of their days teaching together.

Former student and Todd County Central High School FFA Advisor Quashawn Quarles said P’Pool helped in his decision to become an agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor.

Former student Katelyn Smith-Beech talked about how P’Pool influenced her life.

Deana Litchfield shared some memories of P’Pool and his impact on her life.

P’Pool was also saluted by his sister and former student Julie P’Pool-Tres.

Fellow Trigg County Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor Karen Nolcox thanked P’Pool for his partnership during the past 21 years.
P’Pool took time to thank everyone for their well-wishes and support through the years.

P’Pool will officially retire from the classroom on June 30. Caldwell County native Noah Peeke will join Karen Nolcox as the FFA Advisor and agriculture teacher.
