A Hopkinsville woman was charged after a short pursuit with law enforcement Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the 2000 block of Greenville Road for a domestic disturbance with a gun involved and located 24-year-old Kayla Knight who was involved in the disturbance.
Deputy Clevin Robinson reportedly found Knight’s vehicle on Skyline Drive at East 9th Street and attempted to stop the vehicle when she fled.
She was stopped and after a search of the vehicle, she was reportedly found to have a firearm under the passenger seat that was reported stolen out of Clarksville.
She was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police and receiving stolen property.
