Legislators Discuss Welfare Reform, Broadband, Fentanyl

Legislation aimed at cutting down on welfare fraud, a measure to expand broadband, and legislation cracking down on fentanyl are among items discussed this week by area legislators.

Eighth district State Representative Walker Thomas says he was pleased with legislation that will combine SNAP and Medicaid benefits on one card, which will help cut down on fraud.
