Three more candidates filed their respective papers Tuesday to run in the May primary election for seats on Hopkinsville City Council.
Democrat Patricia Waddell-Bell filed for re-election in Ward 9 where she has served since 1999.
Also filing for the Ward 9 race Tuesday was Ardell Owens on the Republican ticket. He will face primary opposition from Jamie Lynn Lienberger.
In Ward 7, Republican Doug Wilcox filed for the seat being vacated by councilman Terry Parker. Republican Mark Graham and Democrat William Coleman have also filed for the seat.
Meanwhile, the Christian County Clerks Office reported three filings for constable bringing the total number of candidates to four.
Republican Sherry Byerline filed in District 6. Republican Joshua Gydesen filed to run for constable in District 3 Tuesday.
Democrat Richard Leavell, III filed to run for Constable in District 7.
Republican Mike (Bubba) Haddock had previously filed to run in District 8.
