Three Area Men Appointed To State Boards And Commissions

Governor Andy Beshear has appointed three men from around the area to Kentucky boards and commissions.

The governor appointed Hopkinsville businessman Hal McCoy as a member of the Land Bank Authority, Inc. to represent Hopkinsville and Christian County. McCoy, who is self-employed, replaces Wynn Radford, whose term has expired. McCoy’s term expires August 31, 2025.

Beshear also appointed Matthew Bailey of Guthrie and Sean Mestan of Princeton as members of the Kentucky Heritage Council.

Bailey is director of Hermitage Farm and replaces Judi Patton, whose term has expired. He will serve a term expiring August 6, 2025.

Mestan, who is self-employed, replaces Paul Tenkotte, whose term has expired. Mestan also will serve a term expiring August 6, 2025.
