A Christian County man was arrested on a warrant out of Todd County for assault at his home on Pilot Rock Road Tuesday.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say 23-year-old Brandon Cummings used kitchen utensils to physically assault a woman on Sunday.
During the assault, he reportedly wrapped an electrical cord around the woman’s neck in an attempt to strangle her and threatened to kill her while holding a knife.
Deputies say the woman’s child witnessed the assault.
He is charged with second-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, first-degree wanton endangerment, third-degree terroristic threatening, and third-degree criminal mischief.
