Christian County Students Returning To Classroom

Students enrolled in the traditional setting at Christian County Public Schools will begin attending classes in-person next week.

Superintendent Chris Bentzel said during a video posted Thursday on social media; those students will attend virtual classes on Monday and Tuesday.

He added all traditional model students would return to the classroom on Wednesday, January 6. The previous hybrid model for middle and high school students will not be utilized, as all students in Kindergarten through 12th grade will return to the classroom five days a week.

All students attending in-person classes will have to follow all health guidelines.

Middle and high school students are asked to bring their Chromebooks and chargers with them when they return Wednesday.

He added those students would then slowly transition back to their normal seven-period schedule, with proper protocols being followed between each class.

All extracurricular activities will continue Monday and will follow all guidelines set by the state.
