Todd County Confirms More New Positive COVID Cases

 

Five new positive coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Todd County in the last two days.

Jen Harris, director of the county’s health department, reported the healthy minor is isolated at home with mild symptoms and is linked to other cases infected with the virus.

Harris said a healthy adult, connected to out of county cases, is isolated at home with moderate symptoms, while another adult with underlying health conditions is also isolated at home with mild symptoms. She added this case is not linked to any other COVID cases.

According to Harris, two other healthy adults not connected to any other cases tested positive for the virus on Thursday. She said both cases are isolated at home with moderate symptoms.

To date, Todd County has confirmed a total of 185 COVID cases and 168 recoveries. Nine cases are currently active and healing at home, and the county has reported eight deaths related to the virus.

Harris reports the county’s recovery rate is 91%.
