Some Hopkinsville residents are facing an extended power outage due to damage from a line of severe storms that moved through Christian County Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Electric System General Manager Jeff Hurd says power has been restored to the majority of customers in the city of Hopkinsville.
Hurd says the majority of the damage is on the northwest side of Hopkinsville.
The power outages occurred shortly after the line of storms moved through between 6 and 8 Saturday morning.
