Man Charged With Possession Of Meth After Todd County Traffic Stop

A report of a suspicious vehicle on Stringtown Road in Todd County led to drug charges Sunday morning.

Todd County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were called for a suspicious vehicle in the area of a hunting cabin and as they talked with the owner of the cabin the suspicious vehicle drove by.

Deputies reportedly stopped the vehicle driven by 34-year-old Adam Weatherford of Lewisburg and during a search of the truck found marijuana joints and a handgun.

As Weatherford was being put in the deputies vehicle they allegedly found a clear plastic baggie in his pocket containing a white substance that tested positive for meth.

He is charged with possession of meth and marijuana.
