
A Trigg County student performed before a live audience Friday during the general session of Kentucky Farm Bureau’s 100th annual meeting in Louisville.
Arielle Evans was the winner of both the Trigg County and District 1 preliminary contests and was one of eleven acts invited to perform at the state level Variety Showcase. The competition is sponsored annually by the Kentucky Farm Bureau to support youth achievement in entertainment.
Evans, who did a vocal and guitar performance of “Fire Away”, was awarded a $250 check for being named the district winner of the Variety Showcase.
KFB’s District 1 includes the counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, McCracken, Marshall and Trigg.
