The Hopkinsville Police Department is congratulating a former Animal Control Officer on becoming the newest dispatcher.
Sarah Carson recently graduated from the Department of Criminal Justice Training’s Telecommunications school. Carson completed a 5-week course that consisted of 205 hours of classroom and practical exercises.
HPD reports Carson received the Trainee of Distinction and the Academic Award in her class all while holding the position of Guidon Bearer.
