Salvation Army Offering Shelter From Frigid Temperatures

With near-record cold temperatures forecast for Monday and Tuesday nights, the Salvation Army in Hopkinsville will be opening its Extreme Weather Shelter for anyone needing a place to stay warm.

Director of Social Services Alisa Barton tells the News Edge they started activating the Extreme Weather Event Shelter at the Soup Kitchen last year.
