A Hopkinsville woman was charged Wednesday afternoon with theft after she reportedly paid bills with cold checks.
Hopkinsville Police say 26-year-old Chazman Buckner paid rent and a security deposit of $1,700 along with $38 in goods and services with checks she knew she didn’t have the money to pay for in her account.
She is charged with two counts of theft by deception.
