Wiggins Sworn In As Chief Of The Cadiz Police Department

Duncan Wiggins was officially sworn in Monday afternoon as the new Chief of the Cadiz Police Department.

Cadiz Mayor Todd King says Wiggins will help to make the department more community involved.

Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander worked alongside Wiggins every day for over 16 years as the police chief of Cadiz. He adds Wiggins is the right man for the job.

Wiggins notes he is a firm believer that anyone who is successful and says they did it on their own is a fool.

Wiggins began his career with the Cadiz Police Department in 1994 and adds he will be a police chief for all residents of the city.

Wiggins’ daughter, Jessica, and wife, Cindy, joined in the ceremony, placing the chief’s pins on his uniform.
