New cell towers are being installed and activated in Trigg County, with some citizens upset they are not seeing improvements in coverage yet.
Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander says AT&T has recently installed towers in areas that are in desperate need of cell service.
Magistrate Mike Lane explains service from the towers tend to be better if you are driving away from them, instead of being directly underneath them.
Alexander adds AT&T recently explained to them that once all the towers are installed and fully activated they will have a honeycomb effect.
AT&T has confirmed to the News Edge that new towers in Cerulean and Roaring Springs were activated in July, with towers in the Potts Creek and Trigg Furnace areas to be in service by August 31.
