
The Trigg County Grand Jury recently returned several indictments for forgery, theft and drug possession offenses.

The grand jury indicted 35-year old Michael A. Lindsey of Cadiz on charges of first-degree criminal trespassing, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The indictment says the charges are in connection to Lindsey knowingly entering or remaining unlawfully in a dwelling on October 31, 2018, and being found in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

36-year old Amanda R. Neeble, a/k/a Amanda DeLoach, of Cadiz was indicted for first-degree criminal trespassing, alcohol intoxication, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from October 30, 2018, when Cadiz Police reported an officer was called to a Cadiz residence where the victim stated Neeble was in her home without permission. Upon contact, the officer reported a strong smell of alcoholic beverages and said Neeble admitted to drinking. During a search after her arrest, another officer found a syringe in her bra, which she admitted was used for illegal drug injection.

The grand jury indicted 43-year old Justine Marie Ladd of Cadiz on charges of possession of synthetic drugs, and possession of paraphernalia. Ladd was arrested by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office on November 8, 2018, after deputies were conducting a welfare check when Ladd was found passed out in the yard of a Riley Hollow Road home. When deputies arrived, they said Ladd was on the phone with her daughter and added she was unsteady on her feet and had bloodshot eyes. While performing a check of the property, officers reportedly found synthetic marijuana and other paraphernalia.

34-year old Joshua Adam Colwell of Hopkinsville was indicted on three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, two counts of theft by deception under $500, theft by deception under $10,000, and second-degree persistent felony offender. A Trigg County Sheriff’s report says Colwell was arrested on January 17, 2019 on a warrant signed by Trigg Circuit Court Judge C.A. “Woody” Woodall. The charges are in connection to Colwell forging four checks with the intent to defraud or deceive and uttered or possessed a forged instrument in August and September 2018.

The grand jury indicted 52-year old John A. Hall of Cadiz on three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, and fraudulent insurance acts over $500. According to the indictment, the charges stem from February 22, 2018, May 25, 2017, and March 1, 2016 when Hall knowingly and with the intent to defraud or deceive, presented to the Kentucky Division of Plumbing a fraudulent certificate of insurance from the Cincinnati Insurance Company, knowing that it contained false, incomplete or misleading information. The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office reports Hall was arrested Wednesday on a warrant signed by Judge Woodall.

And 25-year old Christopher David Jones of Cadiz was indicted for failure to comply with the sex offender registry – first offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree persistent felony offender. The charges stem from September 17, 2018, when Jones allegedly failed to properly register his address with the local probation and parole office in his county of residence. He was also reportedly found possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
