
A Nashville man was arrested Saturday night and charged with a robbery in May.
According to the Hopkinsville Police report, 19-year-old Shamir Williams of Nashville was arrested Saturday night around 11:15 in the parking lot of Walmart Neighborhood Market for a robbery that allegedly occurred on May 20, 2018 in Christian County.
According to the arrest warrant, Williams and two juveniles allegedly stole an xbox X1 video game system from the victim. As Williams was driving away he reportedly ran over a bystanders foot, which caused physical injury. The victim was attempting to sell the video game to Williams through the OfferUp app. Police later traced an account back to Williams after he posted the video game for sale 4 to 5 hours after it was stolen.
Williams was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
