Two children, along with their mother, were injured in a crash on West Princeton Street in Crofton on Monday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say that at 5:09 pm, a truck driven by 19-year-old Nathan Powell of Nebo on Poole Mill Road pulled into the path of a tractor driven by 32-year-old Leanne Garber of Crofton on West Princeton Street. The collision caused the tractor to overturn.
Two children under two years old, Autumn Graber and Ava Graber, who were in Leanne Garber’s tractor, were flown to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, due to severe injuries, and Leanne Garber was taken by ambulance to the same hospital as well.
The tractor caught fire after the crash, but it was extinguished by witnesses and deputies using a fire extinguisher.
