Joe Taylor, 55, of Hopkinsville, died Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2026, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Clarksville, TN, he was born September 9, 1970, the son of the late Margie Marie Halsey Taylor.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tyrone McGee, and a daughter, Brittany Davis.
Survivors include his partner, Kathy Davis; his daughter, Kayla (Johnathan) Underwood of Morton’s Gap, KY; his brother, Eric Taylor of Clarksville, TN; his sister, Anita Taylor of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren, Zachary Underwood and Gracelynn Stanley; six nieces; four nephews; four great nephews; and two great nieces.
