As graduation night approaches, organizers in Trigg County are preparing to give seniors a safe and memorable sendoff through the long-running Project Graduation event.
click to download audioThat’s organizer Amanda Oliver, who says donations for this year’s event are ongoing to help give the senior class one final send-off and a chance to spend time with their classmates for what could be the final time.
click to download audioOliver said every dollar raised goes directly back to the students through prizes, activities, and incentives to keep them engaged throughout the overnight event.
Project Graduation began in Trigg County in 1988 and has taken many forms, held at locations both in and outside Trigg County.
Oliver says this year’s project graduation will be held at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
