Carolyn Sue Hazelrigg Hite, 79, of Oak Grove, passed away Wednesday morning, May 6, 2026, at her home.
Born September 16, 1946, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late David Edward Hazelrigg and Evelyn Pearl Jaynes Hazelrigg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Shannon Figg and Kathy Elmore; one grandson, Anthony Elmore; and one sister, Nancy Hazelrigg.
Mrs. Hite was of the Christian faith. She retired as an accountant from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and later retired from Speedway, LLC. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, drinking coffee, and watching the morning news.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Spencer of Indianapolis; three brothers, Edward Arthur Hazelrigg, David DeWitt Hazelrigg, and Daniel William Hazelrigg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
King’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
