
A Clarksville man was charged after he fled from law enforcement during a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville on Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Tommy Gordon Jr. on Fort Campbell Boulevard, and he fled, turning onto Eagle Way and then Lafayette Road.
The pursuit reportedly reached speeds of 85 mph before he pulled into an apartment complex off Koffman Drive and stopped.
Gordon was arrested and charged with DUI, first-degree fleeing or evading police, disregarding a traffic control device, no insurance, reckless driving, resisting arrest, and speeding.
