An investigation into a credit card skimmer on a gas pump on Fort Campbell Boulevard led to charges for a Tampa, Florida, man on Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a credit card skimmer found on a gas pump, and after reviewing video surveillance from two gas stations near Interstate 24, law enforcement located a vehicle in connection to the incident.
Police say video showed 38-year-old Yuniesky Miquet-Rojas putting something on the pump and not getting any gas.
A traffic stop on the vehicle reportedly seen in the video led to Miquet-Rojas being taken into custody.
Police say Miquet-Rojas claimed to have only been getting gas, but the video proved he did not touch the handle of the pump.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawful access to a computer.
