The Hopkinsville Downtown Farmers Market is set to return this weekend for the 2026 season, with organizers preparing for another year of fresh, local products and expanded community involvement.
Market Manager Emalee Hudson says opening day is scheduled for Saturday, with the market operating each Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon at Founders Square through the end of September.

She says vendor spaces are available, and those interested can participate for a $50 seasonal fee, which allows them to set up each Saturday throughout the market season.
In addition to shopping opportunities, the Farmers Market also serves as a community gathering space. Community and Development Services Director Holly Boggess says the market regularly partners with local organizations, including the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library and the Christian County Extension Office, to host activities and outreach events.

Hudson says the market remains focused on supporting local growers, artisans, and small businesses, while providing residents with access to fresh, Kentucky-grown products.
