Murray Woman Identified as Victim in Clarksville Homicide

Authorities have identified the victim in a domestic-related homicide in Clarksville that happened Sunday night.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers responded to a residence on Stillwood Drive around 9:25 p.m. following a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Samarah Smith of Murray, who was suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Smith was reportedly transported to Vanderbilt Clarksville, where she was later pronounced dead.

Police say 21-year-old Cam’Ron Walker was taken into custody at the scene. He has been charged with homicide and is being held at the Montgomery County Jail.
