Clarksville Man Charged With DUI In Hopkinsville

A Clarksville man was charged with DUI and drug possession during a crash investigation on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville on Saturday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a vehicle in the ditch driven by 41-year-old Derrick Henson, and after a field sobriety test, he admitted to taking ecstasy.

After a search of the vehicle, Police say a bag of an unknown substance was located in the road near the vehicle, and he admitted it was his and was ecstasy.

He was arrested and charged with DUI, operating on a suspended or revoked license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence.
