Delbert Ray Moore, age 82, of Crofton, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Lake Barkley Health and Rehab in Kuttawa, KY of natural causes. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Maddux- Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home and burial to follow in Ancestral Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the service hour at 2:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Moore was born on March 12, 1944, in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Elbert Brandon and Esther Norfleet Moore. Delbert was a farmer. He was a member of St. John’s Methodist Church and a former member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Sue Moore of Crofton, KY; sons, Christopher Jason Moore, Christian County, KY and Brandon Clark Moore of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Elbert Moore of Hopkinsville, KY; sister, Linda Scott of Christian County, KY; and three grandchildren, Kylie Moore, Blake Moore, and Krislyn Moore.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
