Joseph “Joe” Frank Nix, III, age 41, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, with Pastor Terry Hancock officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 12:00 PM Noon until the service time at 3:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Joe was born in Louisville, KY, on January 22, 1985, the son of Joseph Frank Nix, II of Indiana and Robin Stice of Louisville, KY. He was the owner and operator of Whyz Guyz Moving Company and attended Lighthouse Church.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 15 years, Amanda Combs Nix of Hopkinsville; his five sons, Michael Combs of Boston, Brandon Combs of Hopkinsville, Dylan Nix of Louisville, Jace Weatherwax of Hopkinsville, Joseph Nix, IV of Louisville; his three daughters, Lilly Combs Nix of Hopkinsville, Jayden Nix of Louisville, Savannah Nix of Louisville; and his granddaughter, Avianna Richie.
