James Robert Moore, 78, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026 at Elkton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elkton, KY.
Memorial Service will be Monday, April 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Pastor Sara Norris officiating. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY he was born July 7, 1947 the son of the late James Henry Moore and Sarah Frances Cherry Moore. He was a veteran of the United States Airforce and enjoyed classic cars.
Survivors include his wife: Karen Kem Moore of Hopkinsville, KY; and his children: Sara (Chris) Norris of Suwanee, GA, Kathryn (Jimmy) Hicks of Crossville, TN, Dr. Mary (Trisha) Terhar-Lacy of Snohonash, WA, and Frank (Rebecca) Lacy of Hopkinsville, KY; and his 12 grandchildren.
