Elkton is rezoning several new residences off 68/80. The City Council recently passed the first reading of Ordinance 26-03 to rezone land on Elk Fork Road from a Business-3.
Mayor Arthur Greenfield. City Council also approved the first reading of an ordiance to update Chapter 90 of the City Code dealing with animals in the city limits, specifically addressing chickens and hogs.
In other business, Tichenor and Associates presented the City's Annual Audit via teleconference.
