Jane K. Robinson passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 74 with her devoted husband by her side. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2026, and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Riverside Cemetery.
Jane K. Robinson was born on November 16, 1951, to Mary Lucille Gibson King and Bernard Fletcher King in Cox’s Creek, Nelson County, Kentucky. She attended Old Kentucky Home High School and Western Kentucky University, graduating in 1973 with a degree in Library Science. Jane taught school and worked as a librarian in Hopkins County for 34 years. Her coworkers said she was a sounding board, kind, helpful, and a very loving person. She attended Crofton Christian Church and was a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. She married Mancil D. Robinson Jr. on April 5, 1974, and moved to Christian County, where she lived on the Robinson family farm until her passing. They had one daughter, Jennifer Lee Robinson (Jordan) Dishman, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and one grandson, Ethan James Dishman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Bernard King.
Her family fondly recalls her as an avid reader, a dog lover, and someone who loved living in the countryside. Her most recent joy was spending quality time playing with her grandson, Ethan. There are no words to describe how deeply she will be missed.
