Geneva Boyd Bargo, age 89, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Christian Health Center of natural causes.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Flat Lick Cemetery with burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Geneva was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on August 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Plomer and Orva Boyd Wallace Boren. She was a Christian woman and retired as a Cafeteria Worker from Indian Hills Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Winifred Dame Rickard, her 2nd husband, Colonel E.V. Bargo, her daughter, Winifred Yolonda Rickard, her grandson, Bryant, her three brothers, Kelly Wallace, Garner Boren, Perry Boren, and her four sisters, Sherry Watkins, Dovie Hargrove, Edna Parker, and Sue Diaz.
Survivors include her daughters, Nanci B. Allen of Hopkinsville, Teresa Ann (Mitch) Joiner of Hopkinsville; her son, Wendell Dame (Cheri) Richard of Florida; her brother, Larry (Cheryl) Boren of Chirstian County, KY; her sister, Lenita Stewart of Lafayette, KY; her eight grandchildren; her ten great grandchildren; and her three great great grandchildren.
