Go Fund Me Established To Help Wisconsin Family Of I-24 Crash Victim

An effort is underway to help the Wisconsin family who lost a wife and mother as a result of a crash on I-24 in Christian County. According to a report from WEAU-13, Elizabeth “Liz” Lubke, of Eau Claire, was a businesswoman in the Eau Claire area and the owner of E.L. Pilates.

State Police say Lubke was in one of three vehicles that collided Saturday, March 28. The 39-year-old Lubke was airlifted to a hospital in Tennessee, where she died from her injuries two days later.

Her husband, Phil, and their three daughters, Adelaide, Cece, and Jojo, survived the crash. The couple’s eldest daughter was flown to a pediatric level-1 trauma center in Nashville.

The report from the Wisconsin TV station says a GoFundMe account has been set up to support the family with medical and other needs. The GoFundMe page notes that Lubke provided assistance to others recovering from injury and chronic pain through her business.

As of Saturday evening, nearly $79,000 had been raised to help the family.
