A man was injured in a crash involving a school bus on North Drive in Hopkinsville on Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say at 2:31 pm, a truck collided with a school bus as it pulled out of the Freedom Elementary parking lot causing the truck to run off the road.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says that, at this time, only the driver of the truck is reporting any injuries, and he is being taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health to be flown to a Nashville hospital.
Police say after reviewing video and talking with witnesses, it was discovered the bus pulled into the path of the truck and the bus driver was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way.
