Funeral services for Jerry Lee Stiger, 81, of Hopkinsville, will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, at noon at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.
Jerry Lee Stiger, daughter of the late Nannie Anna Davis Stiger and Robert Lee Sr., was born Oct. 11, 1944, in Christian County.
She died Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her home with family by her side.
Jerry accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and joined Moore’s Baptist Church. She worked for several years in private childcare for the Langhi-Shouse family.
She enjoyed playing the lottery, doing yard work, talking on the phone, baking, and cooking. She was also a devoted fan of the University of Kentucky basketball. Family members said some of her favorite sayings were, “Blessed by the Best,” “What You Said,” and “You better say that.”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Margheritha White; three sisters, Joyce Ann Stiger, Linda J. Thompson, and one brother, Robert Lee Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Lecia Stiger; two sisters, Marilyn Stiger and Carolyn Bacon; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
