Bills aimed protecting highways and limiting auditing requirements are among priorities for 8th District State Representative Walker Thomas as General Assembly session winds down.
Thomas says the bill he filed that will help protect roads from steels wheels on farm equipment is waiting on action by Governor Andy Beshear.
Thomas says he plans to sponsor a bill sponsored by Senator Steve Nunn that changes the limits for audits on some local agencies.
Thomas says lawmakers will return to Frankfort two days this week to wrap up their work before the veto period begins.
Thomas represents Christian, Trigg, and Caldwell Counties in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
