A teenager was rushed to a waiting helicopter after being shot on Oak Hurst Drive in Hopkinsville on Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to a 15-year-old who was shot in the face at a home just off of Pyle Lane.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the teenager was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health where he will be flown to a Nashville hospital.
Rogers says the teenager was hit in the area of his nose and was alert and conscious.
Police say they are still investigating the shooting adding they are talking to everyone inside the home at this time.
