A traffic stop for speeding in Cadiz led to drug charges for a Cadiz woman on Tuesday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Angelina Fletcher after she was seen on US 68 going 27 mph over the speed limit.
Law enforcement K9 Rex reportedly alerted to the odor of drugs being in the vehicle, and after a search, a glass smoking pipe and a metal container containing suspected meth were found.
Fletcher was arrested and charged with speeding, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
