The Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center is celebrating 25 years of service to children and families with its annual community breakfast, themed “Happy Birthday PCAC: A Quarter Century. Thousands of Stories.”
For 25 years, the center has provided child-focused support for victims of sexual abuse across the Pennyrile region, offering services such as advocacy, forensic interviews, therapy, and coordination with community partners to help children begin healing.
The celebration is set for April 14 at 7:30 a.m. at the Pioneer’s Building, where survivors, professionals, and supporters will be recognized. Executive Director Candra Barnett says the milestone highlights the community’s long-standing commitment to ensuring every child is heard and supported.
