Patsy Pence, age 91, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, formerly of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville.
She was born on March 9, 1935, in Blackey, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ramon Keaton and Sallie Miniard Hampton.
Patsy was a dedicated homemaker and devoted mother to her children. As her family grew, she welcomed the births of her eight grandchildren, whom she cherished dearly in her role as "Nanny." She also adored her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She relished every moment spent with her family.
Patsy was a member of Delmont Baptist Church, where she enjoyed attending. She loved the sound of music and enjoyed staying active in life.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Coy Hampton; her first husband, Roy Marshall Pence, Sr.; second husband, Billy Joe Boren; sons, Timothy Reed and Danny Marshall Pence; daughter, Zeda Rosser; and brother, Jimmy Keaton.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roy & Elizabeth Pence of Crofton, Kentucky; her daughter and son-in-law, Sonia & Cole Deason of Hopkinsville; her grandchildren, Gavin Deason, Seth Deason, Joseph Salas (Tiffany), Makesha Gordon (Robert), Tim Rosser, Mandy Rosser, Robert Reed, and Christopher Reed; 11 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2026. Interment will follow in Boren Cemetery.
Visitation will precede the service from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM.
