A mobile home on Rocky Ridge Road in Trigg County was damaged, and a woman was injured in a fire on Sunday night.
Cerulean Firefighters say they were called for a fire inside the single-wide mobile home and located the fire in a closet.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but the homeowner suffered injuries to her hands and was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital.
Firefighters say a young child in the home was credited with alerting an adult to the fire after waking up and smelling smoke.
The home is located at the 3300 block of Rocky Ridge Road. Firefighters say the mobile home sustained damage, but the family will be able to continue living there while repairs are made.
