A traffic stop led to drug charges for a Louisville man on South Clay Street in Hopkinsville on Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 32-year-old John Garner for a seat belt violation and during the stop, found his license was suspended, and he had no proof of insurance.
He reportedly gave consent to search the vehicle, and a bag of suspected meth was found, which he claimed was not his.
He was arrested and charged with failure to produce an insurance card, failure to wear seat belts, possession of meth, and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
