A wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County led to the eastbound lanes being blocked on Thursday afternoon.
Christian County emergency personnel say a crash involving two tractor-trailers and a truck pulling a trailer led to the eastbound lanes being blocked at the Fort Campbell Boulevard overpass.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says that Hopkinsville EMS, along with an ambulance from Fort Campbell, were called to help with two people who were injured.
The eastbound lanes will remain blocked as the crash is investigated.
Rogers says the injuries are non-life-threatening.
Hopkinsville’s Station 5 ambulance and fire engine along with Oak Grove Fire Department and Christian County Rescue all responded to assist with the crash.
