The City of Hopkinsville is taking a proactive approach to artificial intelligence, rolling out a new policy to guide how the technology is used across city government.
The effort follows a visit by City Administrator Troy Body to an AI conference at the Harvard Institute, which helped spark the creation of an internal advisory committee made up of department leaders.
Policy Analyst Cody Brem says the committee started by surveying city employees.
