Clarence “Peanut” Moore, 68, of Hopkinsville, died at 7:27 a.m. Sunday, December 14, 2025, at his residence.
The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Grace Episcopal Church with Father Stephen Spicer officiating. Inurnment will follow in Grace Episcopal Church Memorial Garden.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born November 16, 1957, the son of the late Kermit Moore and Earlene Leavell Moore. He was a handyman and a landscaper.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Lynn Wilford; his brothers, Henry Lewis Williams, Garry Moore, Oscar James Moore, and Larry Eugene Moore; and his sister, Hattie Mae Washington.
Survivors include his son: Marvin Wilford of Killeen, TX; and his daughter: Elizabeth Moss of Lexington, KY; and his brothers: John Thomas Williams, Jr., Ronnie Leavell of Hopkinsville, KY, Johnny Wessley Moore of Mississippi, Bobby Dewayne Moore of Terre Haute, IN, Kermit Roosevelt Moore III of Chicago, IL; and his sisters: Clara Lee Cox of Clarksville, TN, Michelle Moore of Hopkinsville, KY, and Danielle Moore White of Indianapolis, IN; and his many nieces and nephews.
