The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Trigg, Caldwell. Lyon, and all counties to the west until 9:00. The National Weather Service has also issued a tornado watch until 11:00 tonight for all of the region.
Forecasters say severe storms this evening could include heavy rain and winds between 45 and 60 miles per hour. The storm will move through the Pennyrile region between 9 and midnight. The storm could produce widespread damaging winds between 60 and 70 miles per hour, with tornadoes possible along the line of storms.
